Hire Resolve, a prominent recruitment agency, is actively seeking a dedicated Junior HSE Officer to join a dynamic team based in Centurion, specializing in residential, commercial, and retail sectors.

In this role, the Junior HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will assist in risk assessments, conduct safety inspections, and support the organization in fostering a culture of safety and health across all projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and maintaining HSE policies and procedures across all operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and report any non-compliance to senior management.
• Provide safety training and support to employees, ensuring they are aware of potential risks.
• Participate in accident investigations and report findings to improve safety practices.
• Maintain accurate records of HSE activities and documentation.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on HSE performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote safety awareness and reduce risks.
• Ensure that all safety equipment is well maintained and readily available on-site.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a HSE role, preferably in residential, commercial, or retail industries.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
