About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized RFQs & Tender Administrator to support our business development and operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full tender process from document review to submission and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Office Administrator.
  • Manage and order office stationery and supplies.
  • Review tender documents and summarize requirements for management.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of tender documents within deadlines.
  • Compile administrative, technical, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all tender submissions meet regulatory and client requirements.
  • Maintain an updated database of RFQs, tenders, submissions, and outcomes.
  • Generate reports on tender status, RFQs, and bid outcomes.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather required information.
  • Prepare accurate and timely responses to RFQ/tender inquiries.
  • Track tender deadlines and submission timelines.
  • Maintain company compliance documents (e.g., tax clearance, B-BBEE certificate, company registration).
  • Assist with post-tender follow-ups and contract administration.
  • Support proposal writing and updates to company profiles.
  • Prepare monthly departmental reports.

Requirements

  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
