About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (Senior) to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for providing expert SAP SD support and contributing to the design and implementation of solutions across Development and Operations. If you have extensive experience with SAP SD, operations management, and Agile methodologies, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Problem identification and solution proposal
- E2E ownership of SD design (across Development and Operations)
- Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving and closing complex Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLAs
- Create and maintain Solution Guides
- Ensure Knowledge Transfer within team
- Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails
- Executing the required changes through configuration
- Analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
- Interact with consultants across broader team locally and abroad
- Execution according to Agile Methodology and attendance at all team meetings
Requirements
- SAP SD Certification
- Extensive SAP SD experience
- Operations experience (ticket handling, problem, incident management)
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- SAP FI Experience (advantageous)
- SAP MM Experience (advantageous)
- SAP ABAP debugging IDocs, AIF (advantageous)
- SAP S/4 HANA (advantageous)
- Jira and Confluence experience (strongly advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
- Self-motivated and keen attention to detail / time management
