About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support a portfolio of UK-based clients. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting, strong working capital control, and effective forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate monthly revenue reporting in line with agreed deadlines
  • Ensure revenue is recognised and reported in line with US GAAP requirements
  • Manage intercompany revenue and cost transactions, ensuring no mismatches between entities
  • Provide clear explanations on material variances between actual revenue and forecast
  • Ensure supporting documentation for revenue recognition is maintained for audit purposes
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for accrued and deferred revenue balances
  • Agree balances with client leads and escalate high-risk or aged items
  • Participate in monthly working capital meetings with senior finance leadership
  • Act as the day-to-day finance contact for client leads
  • Provide ongoing support on client P&Ls and rolling forecasts
  • Support teams with financial system setup and billing processes
  • Run weekly WIP reviews and support month-end revenue cut-offs
  • Ensure client teams meet key reporting deadlines and requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements
  • Support the adoption of commercial best practices and improved weekly forecasting

Strong exposure to billing / sales order processing systems

Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite / Adaptive Insights advantageous)

Experience within professional services / agency environments advantageous

Exposure to managing revenue for large international clients (project-based or asset-based revenue beneficial)

Strong understanding of UK GAAP and US GAAP
