About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dairy Parlour Manager to join our team at Cookhouse, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our dairy parlour operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain high standards of dairy herd health and welfare
- Implement and enforce milking routines and protocols
- Provide exceptional stockmanship and animal care
- Supervise and motivate a team to achieve optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Dairy software
- Perform administrative tasks related to parlour management
- Ensure compliance with Afikim programs and regulations
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
- Minimum of 4 years dairy herd management experience
- Proven ability to work with Artificial Insemination (AI)
- Strong stockmanship and animal handling skills
- Excellent communication and team management skills
Qualifications
- Formal education in Agriculture or related field (if applicable)
