About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Game Farm Manager for a luxury game reserve based in Cradock, Eastern Cape. This is a senior, live-in management role overseeing an approximately 10,000-hectare game farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full day-to-day management of the reserve, including wildlife and farm operations, hunting activities, client acquisition, and the ongoing development of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of the game farm and all operational activities
- Lead wildlife management initiatives, including population control and conservation practices
- Manage and coordinate hunting operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with international clients and hunting partners
- Drive new business opportunities and client acquisition, particularly within Europe and the USA
- Oversee farm infrastructure, staff management, and overall operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
Requirements
Proven experience managing a game farm or wildlife ranch
Strong background in game farm and wildlife management
Experience in farming and broader operational management
Professional hunting experience preferred
Established network within the international hunting community
Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally
Strong interpersonal skills and experience dealing with international guests and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
