About the Role
A skilled Banking & Finance Attorney is sought to join a dynamic team advising banks, financial institutions, and venture capital funders. The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded legal professional with strong drafting and transactional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and structuring complex lending and finance agreements
- Advising on: Acquisition and leveraged finance, Asset-based lending, Trade finance, Mortgage bond transactions
- Engaging directly with financial institutions and stakeholders
- Providing commercially sound legal solutions within financing transactions
Requirements
- LLB degree (BCom LLB advantageous)
- Proven experience drafting loan agreements and finance documentation
- Strong understanding of lending structures
- Exposure to mortgage bond transactions is advantageous
- Ability to engage confidently with banks and financial institutions
