About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Brand Manager to join our team at Tower Group in Durban. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for ensuring brand integrity and driving consumer engagement through strategic planning, execution, and management. With your expertise in South African retailers and a background in footwear or apparel, we believe you have the skills to drive growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage timelines and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and planning processes.
- Lead the development of sales strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, fan conventions, and other vehicles.
- Utilize category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.
- Secure new business to drive the brand forward.
- Collaborate with sales team for specific strategies for clients.
Requirements
- Must have experience with South African retailers and contacts within the industry.
- Footwear or apparel background is paramount.
- Brand Management experience is a must.
- Financial acumen.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word.
- 10+ years of management, executive-level experience.
- Key initiative planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Senior or Bachelor’s degree in Commercial or related field.
