About the Role

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Divisional Secretary in Town Planning to join our client’s team in Durban. As a Divisional Secretary, you will provide high-level administrative support to the divisional manager and the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Admin support: typing, filing, document control, meeting co-ordination, order processing, travel arrangements, leave administration.
  • Financial support: Project initiation forms, processing contracts, administering creditors information, administering timesheets, expense claims and travel claims, processing invoices and credit notes, assisting with project budget control, assisting with collection of debts, preparing month end divisional packs, maintaining income forecast sheet.
  • Marketing support: Compiling and submitting tenders and proposals.

Requirements

  • Organized, efficient, responsible, and hard working.
  • Strong numerically and have high attention to detail.
  • Competent in invoicing, administration, information gathering and compiling reports.
  • A self-starter who is confident in interacting with and influencing others internally and externally.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Experience in using Proman – an advantage.
  • Matric plus a minimum of 3 years similar administrative, financial and secretarial experience preferably in a consulting environment.
