Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling queries, requests, and complaints
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service delivery
- Supervise and support staff across departments, providing guidance where needed
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities for quality and compliance
- Step in to cover operational roles when service levels require support
- Respond to emergencies and manage incidents such as medical, safety, or security situations
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with daily revenue reconciliation, cash handling, and cost control
- Monitor and report on occupancy, guest feedback, and operational challenges
- Communicate effectively with department heads to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations
- Provide detailed handovers and updates for incoming shifts and senior management
- Make executive decisions in the absence of senior managers to maintain service standards
