About the Role
ProEnglish (Pty) Ltd is seeking a qualified English as a Second Language (ESL) online teacher to join our team. As an ESL online teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to non-native English speakers in a virtual classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching English to non-native speakers
- Preparing and delivering engaging lessons
- Assessing student progress
- Providing feedback and support to students
- Maintaining professional communication with students and management
- Meeting attendance and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Strong teaching skills, preferably in ESL or a related field
- Experience working with non-native English speakers is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
- Reliable computer equipment and internet connection required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT), Linguistics, or a related field
- TEFL/CELTA certification or equivalent
- Experience teaching online is an advantage
