About the Role

Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to join their team in Eston, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance management and a strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate maintenance activities in accordance with production schedules and budget constraints
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively
Conduct regular inspections and create maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and develop solutions to prevent future problems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance tasks
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a Maintenance Foreman or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
Leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a team
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications in maintenance management or a related field preferred
