About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to join their team in Eston, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance management and a strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities in accordance with production schedules and budget constraints
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively
  • Conduct regular inspections and create maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and develop solutions to prevent future problems
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Foreman or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a team
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
  • Qualifications in maintenance management or a related field preferred
