About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Social Media Designer to join our team at Cosmix Retail in Durban. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for driving our brand’s online presence and creating engaging content that resonates with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and report on all marketing campaigns, providing clear performance insights
- Report on social media activity with actionable recommendations
- Develop and maintain the annual marketing calendar
- Manage the marketing budget, reporting monthly on spend and status
- Keep accurate records of ALL marketing-related activity
- Respond to customer queries and complaints professionally
- Support and manage the marketing WhatsApp line
- Manage internal and external influencers
- Update and manage the company website
- Support ad hoc projects and innovative marketing initiatives
- Design & Marketing Support
- Design creative assets for retail campaigns including in-store signage, POS, window graphics, flyers, brochures, and digital ads
- Adapt creative for multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic or Marketing Designer (retail experience advantageous)
- Strong portfolio showcasing marketing and social media design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and best practices
- Excellent layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
