About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team at Riseup Management in Durban. As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD 3D.
Develop and maintain Revit models and RCP (Reflected Ceiling Plans) for ongoing projects.
Interpret and translate architectural floorplans into accurate technical drawings.
Ensure all drawings meet company standards, specifications, and deadlines.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.
Maintain organized project files, records, and version control of drawings.
Support project planning by providing technical input and design solutions.
Provide guidance and support to junior drafting staff when needed.

Requirements

Matric certificate.
Relevant tertiary qualification in draughting.
At least 5 years’ experience in the drafting field.
Ability to read and interpret floorplans.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 3D.
Proficiency in Revit models and RCP.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
