Our client, a well-established player within the FMCG space, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys leading teams, improving plant performance, and driving engineering best practice. You will play a critical role in ensuring machinery operates optimally while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects. Key Responsibilities: 
–    Lead and develop a maintenance team to deliver top-tier technical solutions
–    Drive plant uptime, reliability, and performance optimisation
–    Conduct root cause analysis and implement lasting fixes
–    Enforce and improve engineering standards and audits
–    Support projects from concept through to commissioning
–    Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise high-impact work

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education 
–    BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related

Experience  
–    3+ years in mechanical maintenance (supervisory level)
–    Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
–    Proven leadership and team management ability

Skills 
–    Preventative & predictive maintenance (PPM)
–    Root cause analysis (RCA) & fault finding
–    Plant reliability & uptime optimisation
–    Maintenance planning & breakdown management
–    Engineering audits & project exposure
