Durban: Shift Supervisor

Duties: Supervise and coordinate production line activities during assigned shifts. Monitor machine operators and production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP, GMP). Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members to meet production targets. Identify, report, and resolve production issues or bottlenecks. Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and employee attendance. Train, mentor and motivate production staff to improve performance and compliance. Collaborate with management to implement process improvements. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and the production area for safety and operational efficiency. Requirements: 24 years proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes and machinery operation. Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene and quality control procedures. Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Willingness to work shifts, weekends and overtime when required.
