Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to complex Group structures, sharpen your technical expertise, and work closely with senior finance leadership in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

You will be responsible for the monthly consolidation of Group financial results, ensuring accuracy across multiple entities and full compliance with IFRS. This role sits at the heart of Group Finance, working closely with senior stakeholders and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly Group consolidation process, including inter-company eliminations and reconciliations
  • Prepare and deliver the monthly Group Reporting Pack for executive review
  • Ensure consistency across subsidiaries through maintenance of the Group chart of accounts
  • Manage inter-company balances, including loans, interest, and management fee recoveries
  • Support statutory reporting, including Annual Financial Statements and interim results
  • Draft technical accounting papers in line with IFRS standards (e.g. IFRS 15 & 16)
  • Assist with year-end audits, including preparation of audit files and supporting schedules
  • Support treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and payment oversight
  • Oversee financial administration of the property division, including rental income, expenses, and collections

What We’re Looking For:

  • BCom Honours (Accounting) or CTA essential
  • Newly qualified CA(SA) or AGA(SA) highly advantageous
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a financial accounting or audit environment
  • Exposure to multi-entity structures or mid-to-large audit firms preferred
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with consolidation tools (e.g. CaseWare) is beneficial
