Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialisation Head in Engineering to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers in their specific area of expertise and ensuring the successful completion of projects in accordance with company standards and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of engineers in a specific area of expertise within the company
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborating with other departments to address project requirements and challenges
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
• Monitoring and evaluating team performance and providing coaching and feedback as needed
• Participating in project planning and decision-making processes
• Representing the company at industry events and conferences

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, with a proven track record of leading successful projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
• Professional engineer certification preferred
• Solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
