Job Description

Position: Specialisation Head (Engineering)

Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialisation Head in Engineering to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers in their specific area of expertise and ensuring the successful completion of projects in accordance with company standards and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Leading a team of engineers in a specific area of expertise within the company
Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Collaborating with other departments to address project requirements and challenges
Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
Monitoring and evaluating team performance and providing coaching and feedback as needed
Participating in project planning and decision-making processes
Representing the company at industry events and conferences

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, with a proven track record of leading successful projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Professional engineer certification preferred
Solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
