Job Summary
Role: Workshop : Supervisor
Location: Verulam, Durban, SA
Key performance areas:
- Responsible for preventive maintenance of the fleet
- Responsible for repairs on vehicles and trailers
- Optimise the availability of vehicles and trailers including breakdowns
- Ensure that vehicles comply with statutory requirements and company standards
- Maintain and improve cost tracking system and identify cost saving opportunities
- Ensure work performed by third parties comply with the service level agreement
- Responsible for effective procurement
- Responsible for managing the tyres.
- Manage & Supervise people including performance management
- Responsible for daily weekly and monthly reporting
Nature of position:
- Managerial
Qualifications Required:
- Matric
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ related experience.
- Excellent Computer Literacy – Excel
- Above average interpersonal, analytical and investigative skills
- Energetic and able to work under pressure
- Problem solving skills and analytical ability
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Willingness and prepared to work long hours including telephonic assistance after hours
