About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Yard Manager to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage yard staff
  • Effective utilization of transport
  • Manage health and safety
  • Stock control
  • Oversee the workshop processes and meet deadlines
  • Coordinate the preparing, sorting and stacking of yard stockholding for stock takes

Requirements

  • Matric
  • 3 years experience in framework or in a construction industry
  • SHEQ experience
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • Ability to work under pressure
