About the Role
We are seeking an Admin / Finance Manager (junior) to join our team in East London. As a key member of our finance and operations management, you will be responsible for managing financial records, driving revenue growth, and overseeing all financial management functions. You will also be involved in operations management, human resources, marketing and brand management, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial records for an average monthly turnover of R10 million, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions.
- Drive revenue growth and cost optimisation through effective financial planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement in decision-making processes.
- Oversee all financial management functions, including bank reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow management, cost of sales, creditors, debtors, financial reporting, gross profit analysis, and income statement preparation.
- Liaise with external accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions.
- Oversee capital management and investor interest payments, maintaining transparency and financial accountability.
- Improved historical bookkeeping accuracy through detailed investigation and reconciliation, ensuring error-free trial balance submissions prior to 2020.
- Ensure adherence to FIC cash reporting regulations.
