District Manager Head of Sales & Commercial

Location: Border-Kei, East London
Reporting to: General Manager

Are you a seasoned Sales Leader ready to drive excellence in a dynamic FMCG environment? We are seeking an accomplished District Manager who embodies strategic vision and operational acumen to lead sales and commercial functions.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize all functional areas within the plant to meet customer and stakeholder expectations.
• Align strategic practices to exploit developed and emerging markets.
• Manage franchisor/supplier relationships to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership support and guidance to your team, fostering a culture of performance excellence.
• Formulate and control expense and capital budgets, ensuring optimal resource management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of a Sales and Marketing Bachelors Degree.
• Proven track record in an FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics is highly advantageous.
• Looking for seasoned and commercially strong professionals.
• Ability to present and report to the GMs and Commercial Sales Director.
• Must have been an Area or Sales Manager for 5+years before moving into a senior sales role.

Key Competencies:

• Ability to develop and maintain budgets for optimal function management.
• Expertise in strategic business planning for both sales and operations.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a competent sales team.
• Excellence in customer service and human resource management.
• Ability to present and report bi-weekly to senior executives.
