Job Summary
Requirements:
Completed tertiary qualification in Information Systems, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in Server Administration Experience with NOC and SOC Additional Information Security or Cyber Security certification is advantageous Information Security

Information Security Governance Security Policies and Standards Risk Management Access Control User Access Management MFA Role-based Access Control Network and Endpoint Security Firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems Antivirus and Endpoint Protection Network and Security Monitoring VPNs Data Security and Encryption Data Loss Prevention Backup and Recovery Security Incident Management Incident Detection and Response Planning Security Incident Reporting Forensic Analysis Vulnerability Management Vulnerability Assessments Patch Management Penetration Testing Compliance and Audit Support Regulatory Compliance Audit Preparation Security Controls Verification Security Support and Helpdesk Services User Security Support – password resets, access requests Security breaches, phishing attempts, and other security concerns Cloud Security Management Cloud Infrastructure Protection Cloud Access Security Broker Data Protection in the Cloud Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning Disaster Recovery Planning Business Continuity Management – security policies and procedures Security Technology Management SIEM – analyse and report on security events Mobile device management Server Administration

Server installation and Configuration Hardware, OS and software install Server configuration Virtualization Server Monitoring and Maintenance Proactive Monitoring and Regular Maintenance Capacity Planning Data Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning Security Management Security Configuration Access Control Patch Management Audits and Compliance Performance Optimization Resource Allocation Load Balancing Performance Turning Troubleshooting and Incident Management Hardware failures, software issues, performance problems Resolution of server incidents Root cause analysis Virtualization and Cloud Integration Management of virtual server environments Cloud Integration – hybrid cloud environments Management of cloud-based servers Documentation and Reporting Server documentation Performance reporting Change management Vendor and Third-Party Management – warranty claims, procurement etc.
