East London: Junior Graphic Designer posted by Edgray Distributors (Pty) Ltd t/a JUMBO

The purpose of this position is to assist with the creation of visual content and to produce high-quality work ranging from graphics for social medica, digital ads, email campaigns and presentations as well as to assist with print materials such as brochures, flyers and packaging, all that should align with the companys brand and marketing goals. The Junior Graphic Designer will support the Marketing HOD and the entire business operations team as well as all employees within the business dealing with day-to-day queries and aiding in building a strong people culture

Key Accountabilities

Assist in the designing and creation of marketing materials print & digital
Assisting in the packing and distribution of marketing materials to all JUMBO stores nationally.
Assist with compiling a shoot plan (location, props, model, outfit and concept of the shoot)
Social Media: Digital Platforms – updating and maintaining company digital platforms (posting of new promotions, replying to customer requests and queries etc.)
Effectively facilitate all marketing related functions
Co-ordination of successful marketing /staff functions.
Booking of media adverts
Post and respond timeously to customer queries on social media platforms.
Timeous submission of paperwork to finance department.
Sourcing quotations.
Packing and dispatching of Marketing materials to Warehouse.
Prepping products for photoshoots.
Processing of orders for departments/stores within the business.
Marketing errands.
Excellent communications with all stakeholders at all levels.
Professional liaison with external suppliers / service providers.
Maintain healthy employee relationships within the business.
Timeous resolution and assistance of employee / customer queries.
Not limited to duties detailed herein, any other adhoc duties
Monitoring of online competitors.

Housekeeping
Maintain cleanliness in office.
Reporting to Marketing HOD

MINIMUIM REQUIREMENTS:
(You must be able to answer YES to all requirements listed below)
Work related experience (advantageous)
Matric
Relevant Graphic Design / Web Design degree/diploma/certificate.
Valid Drivers Licence Code 8 unendorsed.

Computer Literacy Requirements
Candidate must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and InDesign Illustrator
Knowledge of Signage and Digital Printing, knowledge of current Digital and web design and social media platform trends and techniques will be Advantageous
