Lead/manage technical / engineering aspects of projects from concept / design to commissioning / start-up and handover of engineering projects

He/She would be responsible for adherence to production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Improve productivity, reduce waste, and ensuring that products meet customer specifications.

Work closely with different disciplines within the organization to form project matrices

Key Responsibilities Areas:

• Planning and Execution:
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, procurement, construction and plant operations
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
• Implement solutions to overcome challenges and keep projects on track.
• Technical Expertise:
• Ensure projects adhere to engineering principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Effectively communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Facilitate collaboration among team members and ensure clear communication.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, drawings, and reports.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for management and clients.
• Process Optimization:
• Analyse production processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflows and equipment utilization.
• Equipment and Machinery:

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment to increase MTBF
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and reduce MTTR.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Adherence to quality control standards and procedures to produce goods to specifications
• Assist in investigation and resolution of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Support production personnel on safety procedures and equipment operation.

Qualifications       

• B.Tech or BSc. Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering·       
• minimum of 2 years in   Mechanical/ Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering environment      
• PMP Qualification would be an added advantage
• LSS Certification would be an added advantage
