About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join their team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. As a full-stack Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure full-stack solutions using Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design full-stack solutions using Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, Azure, and SQL Server.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to security, scalability, and maintainability standards, including compliance with OWASP and SOLID principles.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions using Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps).
- Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and solution architects to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies such as Agile and DevSecOps, ensuring security is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular code reviews, threat modeling, and security audits.
- Define architectural standards and patterns aligned with enterprise frameworks like TOGAF, ensuring future-proof and well-structured solutions.
- Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a focus on automated security testing, compliance, and continuous delivery.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and engineers to ensure alignment with best practices in code quality, testing, and security.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and enterprise architects to translate business goals into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and architectural artifacts related to full-stack development and security strategies.
- Ensure the technical resources, project timelines, and budget align with company objectives and business goals.
- Lead the architecture and design of front-end solutions using frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Microsoft technologies (.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) and cloud services (Azure).
- Proven experience designing cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services, including Azure DevOps, AKS, App Services, and Azure Functions.
- Strong understanding of application security standards and practices, including OWASP, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001 guidelines.
- Experience applying enterprise architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF, to design large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, security testing, and DevOps methodologies (DevSecOps).
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with proven experience leading technical teams in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with threat modeling, penetration testing, and security auditing tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
