Job Summary

The Technical Data Analyst position in the Logistics Department involves ensuring accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for vehicle production, managing engineering changes, and maintaining supply chain efficiency.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze engineering changes and update BOMs accordingly.
  • Convert Engineering BOMs into Production BOMs.
  • Determine timing for engineering changes based on plant, supplier, and customer requirements.
  • Manage new component requests to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
  • Implement and document temporary and permanent corrections in BOMs to prevent production disruptions.
  • Provide accurate BOMs to suppliers for sub-assemblies during production.
  • Investigate and resolve data queries to ensure BOM accuracy and timely part deliveries.

Qualification

Requirements:

  • ND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or Data Science.

Experience Needed:

  • Minimum of 3 years` experience in the automotive industry within a Logistics environment.

Essential

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the Group Technical Data/Engineering Change Processes and Engineering Systems, including BOM.
  • Knowledge of the Product Emergence Process (PEP).
  • Understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Project management experience.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
