About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the tendering process in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, by ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, prepare, and submit tender documentation in line with client requirements and deadlines
- Monitor tender portals and identify new opportunities
- Attend compulsory site briefings, clarification meetings, and tender-related engagements
- Liaise with internal departments (estimating, finance, operations) to gather required information
- Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with specifications
- Maintain an organized filing system for all tender documents and correspondence
- Track tender outcomes and maintain a tender register
- Assist with pricing schedules, BOQs, and supporting documentation where required
- Ensure adherence to company policies and tendering procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tender Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of tender processes and documentation
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle (essential)
