The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, maintaining robust costing systems, supporting inventory management, and delivering insightful financial analysis to leadership teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and detailed variance analysis
• Manage and maintain costing models, standard costs, inventory valuations, and manufacturing cost controls
• Oversee month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing analysis, and profitability reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and statutory requirements
• Act as a key liaison during internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness throughout the year
• Analyse gross margins, operational efficiencies, and departmental performance metrics
• Partner with operational management to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (Honours advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Management Accountant within a manufacturing environment
• Strong costing and inventory management experience is essential
• Solid understanding of management accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience with variance analysis, standard costing, and profitability reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP system experience; Pastel experience advantageous
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform in a deadline-driven environment
