About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service to clients within the fire protection and construction industries. As a key member of our sales team, you will be expected to identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, engineers, and facility managers, and promote our fire sprinkler installation and fire protection services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fire protection and construction industries.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, engineers, and facility managers.
- Promote the company’s fire sprinkler installation and fire protection services.
- Meet with prospective clients to assess project requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service offerings.
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate contracts and pricing where required.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing client support.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant qualification in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or similar advantageous
Qualifications
- Minimum 35 years sales experience within the fire protection, construction, engineering, or related industry
- Proven track record in technical or solution-based sales
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and fire protection services advantageous
