About the Role
We are seeking a Trainee Manager for our Emalahleni MP team, with experience in Retail/FMCG. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our store and contributing to its success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and processing stock
- Manage cash office operations
- Oversee administration tasks
- Supervise sales floor staff
- Implement effective problem-solving strategies
- Maintain accurate records using retail operations software
- Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
- At least 5 years experience in Retail/FMCG across departments
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
