About the Role
The Recruitment Guy is seeking a skilled Commercial Workshop Foreman (Trucks) to join our team based in Ermelo. As a permanent employee, you will be responsible for managing a labour force and assessing staff performance. If you have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, a strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and commercial truck systems, and can thrive in a dealership workshop environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a labour force and manage workflow in the workshop.
- Assess and report on staff performance.
- Discuss and negotiate agreeable solutions with customers to resolve problems.
- Maintain personal technical knowledge and skills.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience assessing and reporting on staff performance.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and workshop management software.
Qualifications
- Diesel trade tested with a valid certification.
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within the commercial truck industry.
- Previous experience in a dealership workshop environment is essential.
- Valid Code 14 licence (an advantage).
