<p><strong>5* Boutique Hotel </strong>in <strong>Franschhoek</strong> is looking for an experienced <strong>Pool Waiter.</strong></p><p>The Pool Waiter is responsible for providing <strong>food and beverage service</strong> to guests at the <strong>poolside & outdoor seating</strong>.</p><p>Your duties will include <strong>taking orders, delivering items</strong>, maintaining <strong>cleanliness</strong> and ensuring <strong>guest satisfaction</strong>, while adhering to safety and service standards.</p><p>Staff transport available from <strong>Franschhoek, Paarl</strong> and <strong>Stellenbosch.</strong></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p>Greet guests, present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.</p><p>Ensure the cleanliness of the poolside service areas, including clearing tables, removing trash, and keeping the area organized.</p><p>Attentive to guest needs, respond to requests, and try to anticipate needs to enhance their overall experience.</p><p>Suggestively sell menu items and daily specials and inform guests about promotions.</p><p>Process payments and handle cash or operate point-of-sale systems.</p><p>Work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.</p><p>Adhere to all health and safety regulations, especially when handling food and beverages.</p><p>Maintain a positive and friendly demeanour while interacting with guests and colleagues.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Grade 12</p><p>A formal qualification</p><p>At least 2 3 years experience at a high-end restaurant / hotel environment</p><p>Fully computer literate</p><p>The ability to interact effectively with guests and other staff.</p><p>The ability to provide attentive and helpful service, handle complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction.</p><p>The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure.</p><p>The ability to stand for extended periods, move around the pool area, and carry trays of food and drinks.</p><p>Understanding of menu items, preparation methods, and serving standards.</p><p>Basic math skills</p><p>Flexibility to work shifts: Including weekends and holidays.</p><p>Positive attitude and professional appearance.</p><p>The ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively</p>
