About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Restaurant Manager to lead the restaurant operations at a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in luxury hospitality and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and world-class service
- Lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff; manage scheduling and performance
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, service, and hygiene
- Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and control costs effectively
- Develop and implement service procedures and operational standards
- Ensure effective communication between the restaurant, kitchen, and management team
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction
- Assist in menu planning and execution of specials and promotions
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment. Strong leadership, team management, and organisational skills are essential.
Salary & Benefits
R18,000 – R20,000 per month (negotiable, dependent on experience)
