About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Travel Planner / Consultant to join a luxury travel company based in Franschhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bespoke travel arrangements across Africa, ensuring exceptional service delivery from initial enquiry to post-travel follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations and manage travel bookings, including flights, transfers, and accommodation, from start to finish
- Make reservations for both portfolio and third-party properties
- Follow up on quotations regularly to maximise conversion and revenue
- Prepare all travel documents and safari planners, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmations
- Manage invoicing and payments in line with departmental requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in consulting and selling African travel
- Strong knowledge of African destinations and travel logistics
- Experience with travel planning systems is an advantage
- Ability to perform under pressure and work weekends when required
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, creativity, and strong attention to detail
