About the Role
She recruit is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in accounting and payroll positions, with a strong background in bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Full bookkeeping to trial balance
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Debtors and creditors management
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- VAT preparation and submissions
- Handling SARS queries and registrations
- Maintaining accurate financial records for multiple business clients
- End-to-end payroll processing (including bulk payrolls)
- Leave administration and payroll reconciliations
- EMP201 and EMP501 submissions
- Handling SARS payroll queries
- Payroll reporting and compliance support
- SARS eFiling administration
- CIPC registrations and amendments
- Supporting clients with general accounting and compliance matters
Requirements
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in an accounting and payroll position
- Accounting qualification (Degree/Diploma)
- Ability to work independently
- Good Excel and general computer skills
- Experience with SARS eFiling, accounting systems, and payroll systems
- Exposure to CIPC processes is advantageous
