This is a role for a commercially sharp, strategically minded financial leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves in an operational environment, partnering with execs and influencing decisions that span borders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the financial strategy and guide executive leadership on performance, risks, and growth opportunities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across both regions
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, governance, compliance, and audit alignment
• Manage cash, working capital, treasury and risk mitigation to keep the business financially fit
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to strengthen margins, optimise costs and support major projects
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while supporting Group-level initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Registered CA(SA) non-negotiable
• Courier / Freight / Logistics industry experience required
• Minimum 10 years’ experience leading a finance department, with at least 5 years in senior team management
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with deep taxation and compliance expertise (SA and neighbouring countries)
• Solid understanding of imports, exports, customs duties & cross-border operations
• Proven experience implementing financial systems
• Ability to influence, communicate and negotiate at senior executive level
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency
