Key
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust data and content processing pipelines.
- Develop and optimize data wrangling processes and sharding designs.
- Build and deploy microservices to support various data and machine learning applications.
- Design and implement table structures, schemas, and operational models.
- Work with unstructured data and document processing to extract valuable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Continuously improve and monitor the performance of data processing systems.
- Utilize technologies such as Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes to enhance data processing and application deployment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Java and/or Spark is preferred but not crucial.
- Experience working with unstructured data and document processing.
- Proven experience in building data and content processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with data wrangling, sharding design, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in designing table structures and schemas.
- Experience in designing and implementing operational models.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in data engineering, machine learning engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
