Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing clients.
- Visit distributors, installers, and commercial customers to provide support and promote products.
- Ensure that in-store displays, marketing materials, and product information are always up to date.
- Identify new business opportunities within the Pretoria region and surrounding areas.
- Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers and partners.
- Provide accurate feedback and sales reports to the Branch Manager.
- Support internal sales operations, including order processing, handling queries, and resolving customer issues.
- Stay informed about new and existing products to effectively advise clients.
- Contribute to team initiatives, branch meetings, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Requirements
- Matric (a technical or mechanical/electronic background is an advantage).
- 1–2 years’ experience in a technical sales or related customer-facing environment.
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential, as you will interact directly with a largely Afrikaans-speaking customer base.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Confident, energetic, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite) with exposure to an ERP system.
- Valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work occasional overtime when required.
- Technical aptitude (mechanical or electronic understanding) will be beneficial.
