The Financial Controller will take full ownership of the finance function, acting as a strategic business partner to leadership while ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational control. This is a hands-on role requiring both leadership and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full financial management of the business, including reporting, controls, and compliance
• Monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and treasury oversight
• Financial modelling and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Oversight of debtors, creditors, stock, and inventory valuation
• Leadership and development of the finance team
• Process improvement, automation, and system optimisation
• Liaison with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
• Risk management and governance framework implementation

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a financial leadership role
• Strong background in distribution, FMCG, logistics, retail, or high-volume trading environments
• Proven experience managing full finance functions
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
