Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Direction:
Develop and implement financial strategies, set milestones, and provide input into key business decisions
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare accurate financial reports, ensure IFRS compliance, and assist with annual financial statements and integrated reports
Cash Flow & Risk Management:
Monitor and interpret cash flows, forecast trends, and implement controls to minimize financial risk
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Manage budgets, forecasts, and working capital projects; consolidate divisional budgets and prepare budget packs
Audit & Regulatory Liaison:
Coordinate internal and external audits, reduce audit issues, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Performance Analysis:
Review monthly results, provide commentary for Exco, analyze divisional performance, and compile key business metrics
Team Leadership:
Supervise finance staff, set and review KPIs, and drive efficiency through process improvements
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and auditors, and manage company audit processes
Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting:
Prepare additional reports and analyses as required, and respond to queries promptly

Job Experience and Skills Required:
If you have:
A BCom in Finance/Accounting
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in financial management and leading a finance team
Strong Excel skills and solid knowledge of IFRS reporting

Job Description:
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring management receives clear insights to support strategic decision-making
Play a key role in shaping the organisation’s financial strategy, setting targets, and supporting long-term planning across the business
Manage the full budgeting and forecasting cycle, including consolidation of financials, variance analysis, and continuous performance monitoring
Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimisation to support operational and growth requirements
Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, IFRS standards, tax requirements, and internal control frameworks
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and ongoing improvement
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity
Coordinate internal and external audit processes, address audit findings, and strengthen financial controls to minimise risk
Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis, interpreting results and offering recommendations for performance enhancements
Support senior leadership by preparing financial models, business cases, and scenario planning for strategic initiatives
Monitor financial risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure financial governance standards are upheld across the business
Collaborate with various departments, building strong internal partnerships to ensure accurate information flow and alignment on financial objectives

Skills & Experience:
Previous Services experience
 
Minimum five years’ experience in Financial Management
Minimum of 5 years’ management experience leading a Finance team
Excellent Excel Skills
Solid Understanding of IFRS reporting
 
Qualification:
BCom Finance/Accounting
