About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Internal Sales professional to join our team in Gauteng. As an internal sales representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting our external sales team with appointments and other tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales with existing customer accounts by communicating product offerings, promotions, and superior customer service
- Gain new business with existing customers by exploiting product sales and new business opportunities by identifying new clients to be contacted
- Build internal relationships with existing distributors
- Arrange appointments on behalf of the External Sales Team where applicable
- Supply samples, literature, and quotations to all potential customers and existing customers within your remit
- Support the Management team with other tasks/duties when required
- Conduct outgoing calls as well as receive incoming calls
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of customer needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Qualifications
- Matric certification or equivalent
