Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the preventative maintenance tasks are completed as per the pm schedule. Manage the repair of any breakdowns or m/c failures.
Improve current equipment robustness and design were possible.
Keep pm downtime to a minimum by coordinating with production. Logging all breakdowns and reviewing history for pm improvements. Manage critical spares selection and availability.
Provide budget input for all maintenance costs and improvement projects
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with Mathematics
- NTC 3 with applicable Trade Qualification
- 5 Years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Qualification in Millwright /Fitter or equivalent
- Heights permit, Rigging, Hydraulic & Pneumatic will be added as an advantage
Competencies:
- Understanding of ISO 9001
- Understanding of OHS Act
- People Management
- Microsoft Outlook
- MS Excel
