About the Role
As a Project Manager at Communicate Finance, you will be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects within mining and power generation environments. You will oversee project execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering projects within mining and power generation environments.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules using MS Projects.
- Manage project resources, risks, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MV electrical systems.
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in project management within electrical engineering.
- Exposure to mining and/or power generation projects is advantageous.
- Essential experience in medium voltage (MV) systems.
- Proficiency in MS Projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and passport required.
Qualifications
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering
