About the Role

A well-established and reputable agricultural processing and manufacturing organisation is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Food Scientist to join their technical and production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and safety in accordance with regulatory standards
• Implement and maintain effective HACCP, ISO, FSSC, and GMP systems
• Conduct laboratory testing and quality control processes to ensure product consistency
• Collaborate with production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Develop and maintain records of food safety audits and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Minimum 35 years experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP)
• Experience with laboratory testing and quality control processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
