Key Purpose of the Role

To lead, coordinate, and produce all commercial bid responses—ensuring tender compliance, robust commercial governance, and submission excellence. The Proposals Manager will drive structure, clarity, and consistency across all proposals while protecting profitability and strengthening competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Bid Leadership

• Lead all commercial bid responses for FEED, EPS, modular ranges, configurables, and bespoke engineering solutions.
• Own tender compliance, document structure, formatting standards, and final submission quality.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate inputs from Business Development, Technical Sales, Engineering, Fabrication, Procurement, Finance, and Risk teams.
• Ensure alignment on scope, assumptions, exclusions, deliverables, interfaces, and tie-ins.

Commercial Governance

• Maintain and update standard BOQs, cost models, pricing structures, work scopes, commercial templates, and related systems (e.g., Candy, WinEst).
• Own and manage the commercial risk register for proposals, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.
• Safeguard margins through disciplined review of pricing, clarifications, deviations, and contractual exposures.

Continuous Improvement & Strategy

• Drive improvements using lessons learned, historical bid data, competitor analysis, and win–loss insights.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure CRM accuracy, approval workflows, and reporting integrity.
• Work closely with Marketing & Communications to ensure compelling visuals, diagrams, and narrative quality.

• Own the commercial risk register for proposals, ensuring proper identification, mitigation, and documentation of technical and commercial risks.
