KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Supervision of PFS staff
• Pump Fitting  
• Quality control in PFS
• Expediting

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:

• Assembly , disassembly & repairs of pumps & components.
• Testing of SWP/SBP and gear pumps after assembly
• Ensure that correct parts are used on assemblies.
• Ensure that workmanship in Fitting Shop is of a high standard
• Ensuring section staff obey procedures and policies as set out by management
• He must ensure Rapid’s tools and equipment are not abused and are kept in good working condition
• Quality Control in the Fitting Shop
• Managing the pressure testing function of pump parts.
• Managing the welding activities & base plate alignment function.
• Managing the spray painting functions in the company.
• Administration of section & staff.
• Carry out any work or duty as required by management, that he is capable of doing, that is in the  interest of the Company’s profitability.
