We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead our technical team.Position OverviewThe Workshop Manager will be responsible for managing the repair workflow, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard, and maintaining a productive, safety-compliant working environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with proven experience in auto body repair and team leadership.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the workshop, including panel beating, spray painting, and mechanical repairs.Allocate tasks and supervise technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.Coordinate with the Estimator to prioritize and manage repair schedules.Monitor job progress, perform quality control inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Manage parts ordering, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.Lead, train, and support workshop staff, including apprentices and tradespeople.Ensure excellent customer service is upheld throughout the repair process.________________________________________ Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years experience in auto body repair, including team leadership or workshop supervision.In-depth technical knowledge of panel beating, structural repairs, and spray painting processes.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to interpret estimates and technical drawings.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A trade qualification in panel beating or spray painting (preferred).Please forward CV to *****@*****.co.za or contact (***)***-****
