About the Role
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily workshop and site operations related to truck servicing, tyre fitting, breakdown support, and fleet maintenance. The role ensures efficient workflow, high service quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop and site activities involving truck repairs, tyre fitting, and breakdown services
- Allocate jobs to mechanics, tyre fitters, and breakdown teams
- Monitor turnaround times and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to standard
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety compliance
- Coordinate on-site and roadside breakdown assistance
- Ensure correct use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- Manage job cards, timesheets, and daily operational reports
- Liaise with customers regarding job progress, delays, and service completion
- Control tyre stock, consumables, and workshop materials
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric (Minimum)
Minimum 35 years experience in truck servicing, tyre fitting, or fleet maintenance
Previous supervisory experience Advantage
Knowledge of truck tyres, wheel alignment, balancing, and breakdown operations Advantage
Valid drivers licence (Code 10 or 14 Advantage)
